A guz is an obsolete unit of length used in parts of Asia. It is a regionally variable measurement, corresponding culturally to the yard. Values of the guz range from: IndiaIn India, the value varied (also called a gudge)
After metrication in the mid-20th century, the unit became obsolete. NepalPersiaIn Persia (now Iran), a guz was defined as 2 cubits (914.4 mm). It was also known as the gueza or zer.
